Sagar Nishar is the Founder and CIO of Aurrevia, where he shapes the firm’s strategic vision and investment approach. He also serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Aarii Ventures, the investment office of the Kothari family, overseeing a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors.
With extensive experience in scaling and managing companies across industries such as Foods & Beverages, Infrastructure, and Logistics, Sagar has been instrumental in supporting founders and entrepreneurs to achieve sustainable growth. He actively engages as a Board Observer and Mentor to several startups, representing both institutional and ultra–high-net-worth investors, and guiding businesses with strategic capital and operational insights.
Academically, Sagar is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA, USA) and an alumnus of ESCP Business School, where he earned dual Master’s degrees in Management from France and Germany. He has also specialized in Venture Capital & Private Equity at the University of Southern California and holds additional professional qualifications including FMVA (CFI), Company Secretary (ICSI), and degrees in Commerce, Banking & Insurance from H.R. College, Mumbai.
